Tim Barfield

Tim Barfield joined CSRS, a Westwood company, in 2016 and brings extensive experience across business, government, law, and finance. He previously served as Secretary of the Louisiana Department of Revenue, Executive Counsel to the Governor, and Executive Director of the Louisiana Workforce Commission, where he worked closely with state, local, and federal leaders on education, workforce, and economic development initiatives.

Prior, Tim spent over a decade at The Shaw Group, serving in multiple senior leadership roles including President and Chief Operating Officer, President of the Environmental and Infrastructure Division, Senior Vice President in charge of mergers and acquisitions and strategic initiatives, Managing Director of Shaw U.K. Limited, and Secretary and General Counsel. He also served as the Chief Development Officer for Amedisys, Inc., a leading home health and hospice company, as an associate attorney at Vinson & Elkins, LLP, and as a law clerk for the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Louisiana.

He attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, where he earned a BS. in Business Administration (Finance) and a J.D. from the Paul M. Herbert Law Center.
